Let the sun shine! As long as Carinthia is the southernmost province and so called “California” of Austria, most of your meals can be relished on our panorama terrace made of domestic larch wood – and with a fantastic view. Breakfast is served from 8:30 until 11:00h a.m.. We offer a small breakfast buffet and deliver fresh made food out of the kitchen, for example fruit salad, eggs, pancakes. Tea and coffee are freshly made per order. Slugabeds and early-morning athletes can have breakfast from 11.30 a.m. in the LOKAL.

a dream !! And I personally like the idea of sustainability very well :) all in
all a magical getaway - unfortunately only a weekend ... but I want to come

Think global, act local: Our snacks and beverages are simple and local, yet uncommon. Austrian tapas and home-baked cakes, baked potatoes with different toppings, changing salads made of traditional ingredients, such as peral barley with chopped vegetables, house bread with home made spreads, lemonades from lake Millstatt and craft beer from Loncium brewery at Kötschach-Mauthen ... Art meets kitchen: Just in case it is a little bit fresh outside, our cosy snuggery invites you to have an indoor breakfast or dinner. The snuggery was re-designed by Berlin artist Wolfgang Flad, we promise an artsy dinner. Fresh, crunchy and yummy. Here, fresh from the neighbourhood, local ingredients ar used with recipes from different countries and continents which have been incorporated into our menu. Dirk selects his hobby-horses from other cooking cultures: sometimes his menus are drawnt to Mediterranean cuisine, sometimes he cooks Euro-Asian, sometimes it is just crossover from the Alps to the Adria. We offer changing menus on five evenings a week.
